Set in pristine natural surroundings, the elegant Eco-Eden Bush Lodge offer a unique, eco-friendly African experience with boma evenings, traditional food, star gazing and relaxation. Wake up from your luxury room to the songs of birds in abundance and enjoy the sight of frequent visitors like kudus, bushbuck and red duiker while having a boma-breakfast or dinner.
Our four-star farm style accommodation, stunning pool, well-equipped conference facilities and friendly personal service will appeal to the most discerning business and holiday traveler. Eco-Eden is situated in the heart of the Croc River Mountain Conservancy just outside Nelspruit. Popular tourist destinations like the Kruger National Park and Panorama Route can be accommodated in one day and guided tours are arranged by the Lodge.
Accommodation
Being a birder-friendly establishment where birds are found in abundance, our rooms are aptly named after local feathered friends. All rooms are serviced daily and come standard with tea/coffee making facilities, luxury queen sized beds, quality linen, towels, flat screen TV’s with DSTV channels and more. Each room has a unique view over the never-ending bushveld landscape or gardens.
Swallow Suite
This breathtaking room consists of a King-sized bed with silky linen, a spa bath, huge shower, private balcony, sufficient mirrors and Persian carpets. At Eco Eden we spoil honeymooners with everything they desire from late breakfast in bed to romantic moonlight dinners around the campfire.
The Night Jar
This en -suite room with a private balcony overlooks the famous Witkop. You will love the Nguni skin!
Cuckoo's Nest
Nestle into this beautiful room overlooking the swimming pool with never-ending views of the surrounding bushveld. Adjoining bathroom.
Lourie's Call
Situated on the second storey, guests can enjoy this spacious room with a view of the gardens and boma. The Purple-crested Lourie frequents the indigenous trees right next to your window and is the perfect wake-up call.
The Plum Starling
This luxury disabled-friendly room with its own lounge has an outside entrance close to the parking bay and is also internally connected to the main lodge. The large en-suite bathroom has a shower inside the bath.
Children and budget travelers
In true farm style fashion, Eco-Eden provides a safe four-bed loft that is ideal for children or budget travelers.
Dining
Our menu is customized to suite the dietary requirements of individual guests and we do breakfast, dinner, functions, cocktails, snacks, cold and hot beverages.
Conferences
The conference facilities at Eco Eden Bush Lodge are set in pristine natural surroundings where you will only be disturbed by the sounds of birds in abundance or the bark of baboon and kudu. We cater for groups up to 40 people for any occasion and also facilitate team buildings.
Attractions and Activities
Choose from a range of activities on the premises such as walking, hiking, mountain biking, star gazing, photography, painting and bird watching. (We are part of the Mpumalanga Birding Route). Numerous alternative activities can be arranged in the surrounding area from canopy trails, quad biking and river rafting to cultural tours, seaside lunches (Mozambique) and game drives. |
