Nestled in the valleys of Mpumalanga is Fountain Valley Nature Reserve, your home away from home, only 2.5hrs from Johannesburg. Fountain Valley sleeps up to 25 guests in five of the most luxurious of African feel suites.
Self Catering Accommodation
Each suite has attached bathrooms and fully equipped modern kitchens. Each suite has ceiling fans to keep you cool on hot African summer days and gas heaters to keep you warm on cold winter nights. All suites have a TV, DVD or video machine and DSTV.
At Fountain Valley your time is your own and your meals become a breeze in our fantastically facilitated self catering kitchens. For more of a social we have a lovely boma / braai area close to your suites.
For the larger groups of guests we are able to make the suites interlead into one another. Children of all ages are welcome.
Conferences
We have a small conference centre at the lodge which can accommodate up to 20 delegates. The conference area incorporates a comprehensive sound system, flat screen TV and a DVD player.
Attractions and Activities

Nature walks on the reserve through the hills and valleys
Horse trails through the reserve, to see the wild game up close
Bike trails, there are numerous mountain bike trails through the reserve, guests are welcome to bring their own or hire from the lodge
Quad bike trails there are trails on the reserve suitable for quad bikes guests can either bring their own or hire from the lodge reception
Jet skiing, guests are able to hire jet skis from the lodge, we have various dams on the reserve which are suitable for jet skiing
Archery, we have a range on the reserve which is well maintain for the avid bow hunters to practice
Fishing, we have baas fishing available on a catch and release basis
We offer game drives through the reserve for our guest to view the many species of game on the property
For the 4x4 enthusiast we have various trails suitable on for 4x4 vehicles
Wing shooting is available with prior arrangement with management only
Use of your own motor vehicle in the reserve is prohibited and use of your own equipment is subject to the rules and regulations of the reserve. |
