DESCRIPTION:
Gecko Lodge is tucked away in the Sabie River Valley amongst indigenous forests, and set in pleasant garden surroundings. Situated only 3km from Hazyview, on the Hazyview / Sabie Road, Gecko Lodge is the ideal base from which to explore the Kruger National Park or the Lowveld Panorama including God’s Window and Pilgrim’s Rest. The lodge is owner managed where the focus is on comfort, quality service and good food.
DINING
After a generous full English breakfast, guests can take a scenic walk through the forest to the Sabie River, enjoying the spectacular bird life, or they can soak up the sun at the lodge’s rock pool.
Choose an excellent South African wine from our fine selection, and enjoy a superb dinner in the spacious dining room or under the African sky.
ACCOMMODATION
Gecko Lodge has 27 comfortable rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, ceiling fan, tea tray, fine bed linen and a safe. A daily laundry service is available.
The lodge is owner managed, and the focus is on comfort, quality service and good food.
ACTIVITIES
Skyway Trails, Hazyview’s most exciting activity departs from Gecko Lodge. Lodge guests qualify for a 20% discount on the trail if they book directly at the lodge.
