Situated in the tranquil, secure and prestigious White River Country Estate and featuring sweeping scenic vistas across the temperate forests of Mpumalanga, this superb Golf Lodge offers exclusive accommodation in a stylish and relaxed setting.
White River Lodge is located right on the first fairway of the superior 18 hole championship golf course within walking distance of the clubhouse. At an altitude of over 1000 metres above sea level, you'll experience a temperate climate all year. Under the personal management of charming, internationally experienced hosts, a warm invitation is extended to Lodge guests who find themselves mingling with local residents in the Lodge's bar - The 19th Hole!
ACCOMMODATION
Guests are a select group who enjoy the definitive comfort of only six deluxe rooms and three suites - all with balcony and panoramic views. Every room is air-conditioned, equipped with a mini bar, satellite television and a wall safe - security is paramount! Bathrooms are en suite with bath, shower, bidet, hairdryer and separate toilet.
DINING
Mealtimes are an event at White River Lodge. You are invited to taste superb, globally-inspired cuisine prepared by the Lodge's resident chef. Light lunches and snacks are served either in the restaurant or on the verandah, dinner is an a la carte menu ideal for absolutely any occasion from a candlelit evening to a special occasion.
ACTIVITIES
During those 'non-golfing times', you are at liberty to explore the surrounding areas. Choose from visiting the magnificent Kruger National Park - entering at Numbi Gate which is a mere 35 kilometres drive away or delve into the past and visit Pilgrims Rest whilst passing through the panoramic Lowveld Escarpment area and tropical fruit plantations. Personal tours can be arranged should you require.
